Job summary

Audax Private Debt in Boston is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to lead financial reporting for private debt funds, coordinating closely with Investor Relations, CLO, FP&A and Tax teams to ensure accurate, timely fund-level statements and MD&A.

The role requires a CPA and 3–5+ years in accounting/finance, including public accounting experience with alternative investment asset managers. Base salary range is $99,000–$150,000 with potential incentive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance with a CPA.
• 3-5+ years of experience, including public accounting, preferably focusing on alternative investment asset managers.
• SEC/BDC reporting and CLO experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and fund-level returns.
• Prepare MD&A on fund performance for senior management.
• Review fund administrator’s work on private debt funds.
• Prepare and review capital calls and distributions.
• Track and update the portfolio of investments for the funds.
• Coordinate with Investor Relations, CLO, FP&A and Tax teams.
