Job summary

Audax Private Debt, based in Boston, is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, fund-level returns, and investor deliverables for multiple Private Debt funds. You will contribute to debt, equity, and CLO valuations and coordinate with Tax, Investor Relations, and Audit teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, leadership, and communication skills to support senior management and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA.
• 5+ years of experience, including public accounting, preferably focusing on alternative investment asset managers.
• Extensive experience with Private Equity/Debt valuation.
• SEC/BDC reporting and CLO experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, fund level returns and investor deliverables for various Private Debt funds.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations to provide fund performance data, fee information and underlying portfolio financials for investor requests.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly MD&A on fund performance for senior management.
• Contribute to the valuation process for debt, equity and CLO investments.
• Review fund administrator’s work on various Private Debt funds.
• Coordinate capital calls and distributions; review and calculate with assigned funds.
• Work with Tax team on quarterly estimates and year-end allocations.
• Track and update portfolio investments across Private Debt funds.
• Monitor interest receipts and daily cash management; reconcile with bank.
• Lead interactions with outside auditors for year-end audited financials.
