Job summary

Bain Capital Specialty Finance is seeking a Senior Finance Associate in Boston to support reporting for multiple BDCs, including SEC filings, NAV review, and investor communications. You will collaborate with investors relations and external auditors, with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in public accounting or financial services, strong Excel skills, and a CPA or equivalent qualification.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of public accounting or relevant financial services experience.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to develop templates from scratch.
• CPA or equivalent qualification a plus; CFA interest is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings and weekly performance reporting.
• Create investor decks and assist in earnings releases with IR team.
• Coordinate with external auditors and administrators on controls and audits.
• Support capital reporting for Joint Ventures and portfolio management.
• Address ad hoc requests and interpret provisions in legal documents.
