Job summary

Landing Point in Boston seeks a skilled professional to join the Business Development Companies' reporting team. You will prepare and review SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K), and conduct weekly performance reporting with analysis of returns, positioning, and attribution.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in public accounting or financial services, strong Excel, and a four-year degree in accounting/finance. CPA preferred; CFA a plus. Competitive salary with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of public accounting or relevant work experience in financial services.
• Strong Excel skills, including developing efficient templates.
• Four-year college degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent qualification preferred; interest in CFA charter a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review SEC filings such as 10-Q and 10-K.
• Conduct weekly performance reporting including returns, positioning, and attribution analysis.
• Review and reconcile outside Administrator's NAV package.
• Prepare materials for BDC Board of Directors.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations to prepare investor decks and earnings release.
• Perform analytical review of quarterly balance sheets and income statements.
• Interact with outside accountants to assist in audit work.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in collaboration with the legal team.
• Report capital to investors of Joint Ventures.
• Apply provisions from complex legal documents for Joint Ventures.
• Interact with Portfolio Management to address investment objectives and constraints.
• Address financial reporting process issues with Operations and outside Administrator.
