Job summary

Bain Capital is seeking a Senior Finance Associate in Boston to support Business Development Company reporting and investor materials. The role centers on financial analysis, close collaboration with auditors, and ensuring regulatory and internal control compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in public accounting or financial services, a four-year degree (accounting preferred), and strong Excel skills. A CPA or CFA interest is a plus. On-site role with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Ability to decipher complex financial documents and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and review of BDC reporting and investor materials.
• Analyze quarterly balance sheets and income statements for accuracy.
• Coordinate with external auditors and administrators to ensure controls.
• Support capital calls, allocations, distributions, and related documents.
