Barings LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Associate or Associate Director to support SEC and financial reporting for Barings BDC, BPCC, and BCIC. The role involves preparing Form 10-Q/10-K/8-K, coordinating with auditors, and ensuring US GAAP compliance while supporting earnings, board materials, and investor communications.

The ideal candidate has 3–8 years of SEC or financial reporting experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, and strong Excel and Workiva skills, with CPA preferred.

Competenze

• 3-8 years of experience in SEC reporting, financial reporting, public accounting, fund accounting, or related accounting and finance functions.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA with public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience supporting or preparing Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, proxy statements, and related disclosures preferred.
• Experience within asset management, alternative investments, BDCs, private credit, closed-end funds, or public company reporting environments preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Workiva and SEC reporting software preferred.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, SOX compliance, and external audit processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring reporting deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a strong attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for corporate SOX requests and walkthroughs.
• Prepare and review SEC filings including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K and proxy statements.
• Ensure accurate financial data compilation and reporting under US GAAP and SEC guidance.
• Support earnings releases, board presentations, and investor relations materials.
• Maintain disclosure checklists, reporting calendars, and controls documentation.
• Provide ad hoc analysis for CFO & CAO and seek process improvements to automate reporting.
