Job summary

Atlas Search in New York City or Boston seeks an Accounting Analyst to support its direct lending platform’s two BDCs, one public and one private. The role spans fund accounting, financial reporting, operations, investor relations, and strategy, with significant exposure to the front office and to how the business operates.

Candidates should have 2–5 years of experience in Big 4 or fund accounting, CPA progress, and knowledge of banking audits on lending activities.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Big 4 or other top-tier public accounting, fund accounting, or a combination
• Banking audit experience on the lending side (loan portfolios, credit loss reserves, interest income, or debt securities)
• BDC or credit experience is a plus but not required, since training is provided
• CPA or active progress toward one is required

Our client, a global investment firm, is seeking a sharp, motivated Accounting Analyst to join their team in either Boston or New York City, supporting its direct lending platform’s two Business Development Companies (BDCs), one publicly traded and one private. This is a unique, non-siloed role spanning fund accounting, financial reporting, operations, investor relations, and strategy, with significant exposure to the front office and to how the business operates.

The annual base salary range is $100,000 to $120,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
