Job description

Our client is a national wealth management firm hiring a Senior Financial Associate to join an established advisor team. You'll be the main contact for a set of client families, answering their questions, running ongoing reviews, and helping with financial and life planning. The role works closely with the advisors you support, analyzing portfolios, recommending investments, and executing trades. It's a client-facing seat with real responsibility for keeping relationships strong and service consistent.

Why This Role Stands Out:
  • You'll own the relationship with your assigned client families, not just support someone else's.
  • The team is well established, so there's a steady book of clients and real planning work to do.
  • The firm puts value on training and development, with clear room to grow your career.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a group of client households, handling day to day questions and running recurring account reviews.
  • Strengthen the advisor team's client relationships and respond to service requests as they come up.
  • Support households with financial and life planning, using the firm's proprietary planning software as the core tool.
  • Analyze client portfolios thoroughly and research potential recommendations.
  • Choose appropriate investments for each client based on their goals, risk appetite, financial means, and growth potential.
  • Carry out approved trades quickly and accurately.
  • Gather and review client financial data to help new and current clients understand where they stand.
  • Track each client's progress and changing investment needs through trade activity, monthly account statements, market research, and regular conversations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Five (5) years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Active Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65), plus state registrations matching those held by the supported advisor(s)
  • Advanced technical proficiency, including the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CFP certification
  • CDFA certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities on your own
  • Detail oriented with solid analytical and organizational skills, and comfortable working under tight deadlines
  • Strong grasp of equity markets, investment products, and retirement plans
  • Working familiarity with fixed income, equities, and mutual funds
  • Thorough knowledge of regulatory rules and compliance procedures, with the ability to evaluate client portfolios
Compensation:

Salary Range: $55,000 - $95,000*

*The above represents the lowest to highest expected salary range for this job opening upon hire. Our client ultimately may pay more or less than the posted salary range, and the salary range may be modified in the future. Our client will consider job-related factors including, but not limited to, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs when determining pay.
