Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a passionate financial planner who excels at maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships. This supporting role is focused on delivering exceptional service and planning to our firm’s clients, not sales or cold calling.
You will play two primary roles:
- Support a pair of lead advisors in client engagement, operational efficiency, and essential financial planning tasks. We expect the majority of your time to be spent here.
- Once you are up to speed, you will also be the main point of contact for some clients with simpler financial planning needs.
Qualifications and Fit
You would be a great fit if you are:
- Series 7 & 66 licensed (or willing to earn them on your own time quickly) with 3-5 years of experience in the industry
- A CFP or want to earn your marks
- Extremely detail oriented
- Empathetic and compassionate
- Open to debate – we believe the best idea wins
- Energized by working in‑person with our team and clients
- Humbly confident
- Looking to consistently learn and improve
- Interested in building a subject specialty within our planning team
What You Will Do
- Help senior advisors with various pre‑meeting preparation tasks as well as post‑meeting documentation
- Perform licensed client service tasks (e.g. 529 distributions, execute trades and transactions, communicate with direct business contacts, etc.)
- Meet with new and existing plan participants
- Field day‑to‑day calls and other client inquiries
- Handle ad‑hoc special projects
- Become a stronger financial planner
