Job summary

the company is seeking a Senior Finance Analytics Engineer to scale a critical analytics function. You will design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, models, and data flows to understand financial performance and deliver insights to multiple teams.

The role collaborates with Accounting, Finance, Engineering, and Data Infrastructure to automate processes and improve data quality. You will drive data strategy, implement monitoring and Gen-AI enabled productivity, and help the finance organization

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in Analytics Engineering, BI, Data Analytics, or a comparable function.
• Expert in SQL, with data modeling and large-scale data processing and tool development for analytics or financial use cases.
• Proven ability to design and maintain production-grade ETL/ELT workflows, including Airflow, Docker, dbt, data warehousing, and visualization tools.
• Experience with analytics tools (Mode, Tableau, Looker) and data visualization.
• Proficient in Python for pipeline development and tooling.
• Familiar with CI/CD and Git for production data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Scope, design, build, and maintain complex ETL/ELT pipelines for financial metrics and reporting.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance to ensure ledgers reflect business changes accurately.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Data Infra to improve data integrations and ingestion patterns.
• Implement monitoring, testing, and CI/CD for data workflows to ensure reliability.
• Lead data strategy, roadmap planning, and prioritization across Finance; drive automation incl. Gen-AI solutions.
• Support SOX compliance in data/finance systems and maintain audit trails.
