Job summary

Faire is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analytics Engineer to build and scale data pipelines, models, and automation across finance and accounting teams. You’ll partner with Accounting, Finance, Engineering, and Data Infrastructure to ensure accurate financial reporting and scalable data platforms.

The role emphasizes data quality, CI/CD excellence, and driving governance while expanding data access and automation across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, BI, Data Analytics, or a comparable function.
• Proven ability to design and maintain production-grade ETL/ELT workflows using analytics tools (Airflow, dbt) and data warehousing.
• Strong SQL skills for data modeling, large-scale processing, and analytics tooling development.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Mode, Tableau, Looker) and cloud warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Proficiency in Python for pipeline development and automation; familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Scope, design, build, and maintain complex ETL/ELT pipelines for financial metrics and reporting.
• Act as a trusted analytical partner to Accounting and Finance, ensuring ledgers reflect business changes.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Data Infrastructure to manage data integrations (Fivetran, S3) and optimize pipelines.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and testing for data workflows; champion CI/CD practices.
• Lead data strategy, roadmap planning, and prioritization aligned with business goals.
• Drive workflow automation and Gen-AI-enabled productivity improvements across Finance.
