Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for the Insights, Analytics & Automation team. You will build analyses, automation, and metrics to support business objectives, translating data for finance, tech, and operations partners.

The role combines advanced data skills with financial acumen to turn large datasets into actionable insights and improved reporting. You will collaborate across stakeholders and drive efficiency and cost reductions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of finance, accounting, or related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, tax, economics, or a related analytical field.

Responsibilities

• Build understanding of key drivers of Amazon logistics and related finance, accounting, and controllership systems and data.
• Bridge knowledge gaps between Finance and Data teams.
• Collect, manage, and analyze financial and operational data using Excel, SQL, and Python.
• Create and automate meaningful metrics, tools, and reports that drive business improvement and cost reductions.
• Use data to perform root cause analysis and uncover core issues for Operations and Finance partners.
• Enable Inbound Finance stakeholders to navigate datasets and dashboards to self-serve their needs.
• Partner with data source providers and tech teams to ensure key decision data is accurate, automated, and timely.
• Coordinate inputs from several stakeholders across multiple documents, with clear communication throughout.
• Manage competing priorities and provide level-headed guidance during unexpected events.
