Job summary

Highmark Health seeks a financial analyst to perform financial and business research, forecast preparation, and trend analyses. The role builds and maintains spreadsheets and databases to support reporting and decision-making.

You will lead financial analyses, present findings to management, and collaborate with departments to document policies and conduct studies. Travel is office-based and requires regular site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience as determined by the company.
• 5–10 years of relevant, progressive experience in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Experience with MS Excel and/or MS Access.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Ability to think strategically and act proactively with business units.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial and business analyses and forecasting.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and trends.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases for reporting.
• Present findings to management and document analyses.
• Coordinate with departments on analyses and policy documentation.
• Lead special financial projects and ad hoc reports.
• Communicate project status and deadlines with management.
• Input, retrieve, and display accounting information using PC/mainframe systems.
