Job summary

Medtronic in Fridley, MN is seeking a Senior Analyst to support the Global Functions Finance team with financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and business partnering for HR and Communications. This role reports to the Global Functions Finance Director at OHQ in the US and requires working on-site most days.

You will interact with HR and corporate leaders, perform analyses, prepare leadership presentations, ensure internal controls, and help drive performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting with 4+ years' experience (or 2+ years with an advanced degree).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience with GFS, Essbase, and/or SAP.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and reporting for HR and Corporate functions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
• Analyze financial results and variances; provide actionable insights.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive business performance.
• Prepare presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
