Job summary

RTX in El Segundo, CA, seeks a Principal Finance Analyst to lead program financials across DoD development and production contracts. You will guide EVM-based forecasting, baselines, and performance reviews, coordinating with PM, Eng, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to deliver accurate reporting.

Ideal candidates have DoD EVMS experience, strong SAP/PMX skills, and a record of presenting to management and government customers. A security clearance and hybrid work are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Experience with financial controls for multiple contract types.
• Experience with Raytheon Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and DoD EVMS requirements.
• Experience using SAP transactions and PMX.
• Experience with financial analysis, forecasting, variance analysis, and program financial reporting.
• Experience presenting financial information to management, cross-functional organizations, or external customers.
• U.S. Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial activities for a portfolio of programs with multiple contract types.
• Monitor program costs, schedules, funding, spend plans, billings, and cash receipts.
• Establish and maintain program financial baselines.
• Analyze monthly program performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) and PMX.
• Prepare quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) forecasts.
• Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis.
• Prepare financial forecasts and program financial reports.
• Monitor program risks and opportunities and incorporate financial impacts into forecasts.
• Prepare internal and external financial reporting.
• Support IRAD, Capital, and Inventory investment activities.
• Support sole-source and competitive proposal activities.
• Provide financial analysis and information to Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing Operations.
• Present financial information to program teams, management, and government customers.
• Provide guidance and training to junior financial analysts.
• Review and communicate financial information and analysis for management review.
