Job summary

Novolex is seeking a seasoned finance professional to serve as a key financial resource within the Distribution channel, partnering with Commercial Sales, Finance, and business-unit leadership.

You will develop 18-month channel forecasts, work with procurement and operations to gather inputs, and analyze volume, revenue and margins to drive accurate planning and decision-making. Strong Excel and ERP skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance or Accounting required; MBA/CPA/CFA preferred.
• 5+ years in a financial analytics role.
• Strong analytical skills and direct experience with financial modeling.
• In-depth understanding of income statement geography.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience collaborating with multiple teams and managing competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills with cross-department interaction.
• Experience with database development and reporting tools; Excel proficiency; ERP/HFM/Essbase/OneStream experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key financial resource between the Commercial Sales team, Finance organization and Business unit management in the Distribution channel.
• Develop channel-level forecasts by brand, customer and product type for next 18 months.
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing and logistics to gather inputs for forecasting.
• Analyze monthly volume and gross margin and provide bridges to forecast.Bridge pricing and procurement impacts on margins.
• Consolidate channel-level P&Ls into EBITDA view for Distribution brands.
• Perform ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as needed.
• Improve transparency of activities across the Business unit.
• Monitor third-party industry data to identify market trends affecting the unit.
• Contribute to integration and process improvement projects.
