Novolex is seeking an experienced Manager of Finance - Operations to partner with BU Senior Leadership and Plant Leadership, driving cost efficiency and aligning financial goals with operational strategy.

You will analyze cost drivers, support capital investments, and provide actionable insights to optimize performance across production facilities. This role requires a strong finance foundation, manufacturing experience, and proficiency with SAP and BI tools.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in finance or accounting required (5+ years in manufacturing).
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills; ability to anticipate stakeholder needs.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and handling competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serves as key liaison between Operations and Finance; partners with plant leadership to drive cost efficiency and align financial goals with operations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities with plant managers and operations leaders.
• Provide actionable financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
• Monitor and report on key cost drivers including labor, materials, overhead, and logistics.
• Involvement in operations planning and financial forecasting/budgeting.
• Support capital investment decisions and ROI evaluation on major projects.
• Perform monthly analyses of direct/indirect costs, material usage variances, labor, and production mix.
• Assist in expanding reporting tools and data integrity with IT (Power BI, OneStream, Hyperion, SAP).
