Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a seasoned AI/Cloud Finance Transformations specialist in the U.S. to help design and deliver AI-enabled finance solutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate client needs into actionable plans and implement scalable data-driven capabilities across cloud platforms. Ideal candidates have extensive Python/SQL experience, strong communication, and the ability to guide complex projects from conception to implementation, including travel to client sites

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with software development using Python or similar coding languages.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
• Experience taking production-grade AI-driven solutions from conception to launch for customers.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)-like architectures to power enterprise AI solutions.
• Experience using Python and SQL to develop analytics, machine learning, data engineering, or automation solutions in AWS, GCP, or Azure environments
• Experience architecting generative and agentic AI solutions across infrastructure, model, and application layers, including platforms like NVIDIA, AWS, GCP, Azure; models like GPT-4o, Claude, or Llama; and apps like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
• Experience working with finance data and use cases related to planning, budgeting, forecasting, close, profitability, or cost allocations.
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of finance transformation solutions that use data, automation, ML, and AI capabilities.
• Architect generative and agentic AI solutions across infrastructure, model, and application layers for finance use cases.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into AI-related design requirements, solution designs, and implementation plans.
• Partner with developers to build AI-enabled solutions, providing guidance throughout development and testing.
• Develop and support data, analytics, and AI assets using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms.
• Contribute to client workshops, solution demos, testing, deployment activities, and stakeholder communications.
• Identify delivery risks, track dependencies, and support project execution across cross-functional teams.
