Job summary

Yakshna Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Manager Finance and Accounts to lead day-to-day accounting, ensure timely reporting, and maintain compliance with GAAP and government contract requirements.

The role is 100% in-office at our Herndon headquarters, working with corporate and government entities to optimize cash flow. Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, 4+ years of experience in AP and payroll, and hands-on expertise with Deltek/Costpoint and ADP payroll.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong background in Accounts Payable (AP) and payroll accounting.
• Experience with government contractors and contracts compliance.
• Deltek/Costpoint Timekeeping and ADP payroll experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead vendor invoice reviews for documentation and approval prior to entry.
• Record and verify expense reports in line with policies.
• Lead processing of check runs, wire transfers and ACH transactions.
• Assist in month-end close through GL analysis and reconciliation.
• Allocate expenditures to correct accounts per company policies.
• Handle vendor setup, maintenance and updates.
• Disseminate financial information clearly to vendors, customers and leadership.
• Lead AP reconciliations including payroll, 1099s and related payments.
• Monitor and reconcile state UI tax liabilities where YSI operates.
• Facilitate W-2 issuance and wage garnishment processing.
• Coordinate benefits reporting (HSA, 401K) and annual taxes.
• Support audits and year-end close activities.
