Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled recruiter to lead client relationships with area finance and accounting leadership while recruiting top talent to fulfill client job orders for CFO-level roles and related functions.

You will promote Vaco to the business community, source and screen candidates, consult hiring managers, and drive long-term relationships in accounting and finance, aiming to consistently meet and exceed placement and sales goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in staffing, recruiting, or consulting.
• Experience in audit, tax, or public accounting preferred.
• Professional designation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Market services and candidates to fulfill talent needs in accounting, finance, tax, and/audits.
• Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for client opportunities.
• Consult hiring managers and act as a client partner through selection.
• Foster long-term relationships within the accounting and finance community.
• Develop strategies to qualify candidates through networks.
• Negotiate salary based on position requirements.
• Meet with candidates in person, by phone, or video to assess qualifications.
• Manage open job orders from intake to fulfillment.
• Collaborate with other divisions to fill positions and cross-sell lines.
• Achieve established sales and performance goals.
