Job summary

Armanino LLP is seeking a skilled finance professional to join its CFO Advisory Services team in a role focused on delivering deep technical accounting guidance to clients. The position emphasizes acting as a trusted advisor, managing projects, and coordinating with clients and auditors in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong US GAAP knowledge, capacity to research accounting issues, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 2-4 years’ experience in a public accounting firm, consulting firm, or operational accounting role.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of US GAAP with exposure to related topics.
• Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal, presentation, organizational, analytical and research skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to meet deliverables.
• Ability to work well in a team and drive cross-functional change.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning and Analysis including forecasting, budgeting, and pro-forma prep.
• Technical accounting knowledge for US GAAP and SEC requirements including research and presentation to clients.
• Prepare external financial reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-Ks, proxies) for clients and auditors.
• Assist in designing and implementing new accounting policies and procedures.
• Improve close processes and monthly/quarterly reporting timelines.
• Coordinate with external auditors and client decision-makers for audits.
• Assist with Cash to Accrual accounting and balance sheet prep.
• Lead projects and coordinate directly with clients.
• Foster proactive client relationships across departments.
• Provide timely performance feedback and training.
