Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business-related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in client-serving roles at top-tier public accounting or financial advisory firms, or senior private-industry experience.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with deep US GAAP knowledge (ASC 606, leases, purchase accounting, etc.).
• Exceptional writing, communication, interpersonal, presentation, organizational, management, analytical and research abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and coordinate client/sponsor and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for US GAAP and SEC reporting for clients, including accounting research and delivery of reports.
• Prepare external financial statements for client, auditors, and the SEC (10-K/10-Q/8-K and proxies).
• Assist in designing and implementing new accounting policies and procedures.
• Improve close processes and streamline monthly/quarterly reporting cycles.
• Liaise with external auditors and internal decision-makers for audit readiness.
