Job summary

Amynta Group is seeking a Field Production Underwriter to underwrite and market accounts across approved states. You will own the results of your book and manage distribution with a focus on risk selection and profitability.

The role requires building strong agent relationships, generating submissions, and guiding the portfolio to meet company objectives while ensuring exceptional client service. Remote-friendly options may apply within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Minimum of two years related experience in Workers’ Compensation underwriting, managing agencies and a book of business.
• Experience generating production in assigned territory preferred.
• Designations or coursework towards a designation (AU, CPCU, CIC, AINS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and market accounts within approved states/territories.
• Own book profitability and balance distribution with risk selection.
• Develop relationships with agents/brokers and drive broker engagement.
• Engage in activities to generate submissions and to close accounts.
• Monitor premiums, costs and claims ratios; take corrective actions for profitability.
