Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of commercial underwriting experience.
• Knowledge of underwriting philosophy, processes, and practice.
• Experience in the insurance industry ideally within an underwriting, broking, relationship management or sales role.
• Strong analytical skills with great attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and market accounts across approved states/territories.
• Develop new business and manage assigned agencies.
• Monitor loss ratios and ensure profitability at account level.
