Job summary

Amynta Group is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to support day-to-day underwriting functions within the Structured Credit unit, reporting to the Senior Underwriting Technician. The role is remote-friendly and requires strong organization, communication, and adherence to underwriting guidelines.

Responsibilities include managing submissions, quotes, binding, and policy administration with timely collaboration across brokers and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–5 years of active insurance experience preferred.
• Able to thrive in a remote work environment with strong self-management.

Responsibilities

• Submissions: record and track submissions; ensure timely follow-up.
• Quotes: oversee reinsurance capacity and approvals for transactions.
• Binding: finalize documents with underwriters and ensure all information is received.
• Policy Administration: maintain files, liaise with Operations/Finance for billing and reserves.
• General: prepare reports, review bordereaux, and support new underwriting systems.
