Job summary

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) seeks a Training Manager to lead Field Training and Development efforts, collaborating with the Team Leader to achieve department objectives and drive customer-facing capabilities. You will design, develop, and implement training across formats, coordinating with Brand teams, Field Leadership, Medical, and vendors to align with brand strategies.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in pharma sales, leadership experience, and strong LMS/e-Learning knowledge, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Two years of training and/or people leadership/management experience.
• Rare Renal experience.
• Experience utilizing adult learning concepts, state-of-the-art training techniques and proven management principles.
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems, e-Learning applications, and internet-based support tools.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical, medical and managed care environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and independently initiate projects.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with peers to achieve department objectives with emotional intelligence.
• Develops targeted training programs supporting commercial objectives.
• Designs and implements field personnel training programs in multiple formats.
• Assesses training effectiveness and creates follow-up learning transfer programs.
• Recommends vendor resources and outside training programs when needed.
• Works with co-promotion partners to develop mutual training programs.
