Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) seeks a Field Tester I to perform manual test plans on autonomous vehicles in real-world environments and to operate heavy test equipment during a two-week on-site ramp-up.

You will work with scrum teams to conduct user-acceptance testing for software releases, document defects in JIRA and Jama, and collect data to validate system functionality while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Two-week on-site ramp-up period before starting fieldwork.
• Mentally and physically capable of operating and testing heavy construction equipment.

• Field Tester I primarily focuses on physical vehicle testing in controlled test environments and off-site locations.

All levels require individuals who are mentally and physically comfortable learning how to operate and test construction/heavy equipment during a two-week on-site ramp-up period.

• Operate and control heavy equipment and test vehicles under various conditions.
• Work closely with scrum teams to conduct user-acceptance testing for software releases.
• Identify, document, and report defects using JIRA and Jama (bug tracking tools).
• Collect and analyze test data to validate system functionality.
• Assist in on-site and off-site testing, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Regularly lift and carry test equipment as needed.
