Job summary

ACRT Pacific is seeking a Field Technician 3 to provide field oversight for the Defensible Space program. You will perform inspections, data entry, reporting, and project management while coordinating with PG&E and other stakeholders in the field.

You will work independently, communicate clearly with clients, and ensure safety and environmental compliance across diverse sites, including substations and other facilities. This is a hands-on field role with occasional office work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Management, Forestry, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of forestry or vegetation management experience.
• Senior level capable of inspections, data entry, reporting, and project management.
• Strong understanding of forestry and GIS basics.
• Valid driver's license and minimum age 21.

Responsibilities

• Set up, implement, and manage projects in the field.
• Oversee contractors and ensure safety compliance and quality.
• Inspect vegetation needs and identify removal or treatment work.
• Collect field data and update GIS databases.
• Prepare inspection reports with narratives, photos, and maps.
