Job summary

ACRT Pacific in California seeks a Field Technician 3 to provide field oversight for the Natural Resources Management Defensible Space Program, inspecting vegetation control, documenting conditions, and coordinating contractor work near PG&E assets.

You will collect GIS data, compile inspection reports with narratives, photos and maps, ensure adherence to PG&E procedures, and communicate findings to the LPM and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management, Forestry, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years’ experience in Forestry or vegetation management.
• Strong GIS knowledge and ability to use Maps+ and Field Maps.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vegetation control projects and crews.
• Prepare inspection reports with narratives, photos, and maps.
• Ensure compliance with PG&E procedures and environmental permits.
• Coordinate with PG&E LPMs and vendors.
• Perform field inspections and data collection.
