Job summary

ACRT Pacific leads independent consulting for utilities across the Western United States, including vegetation management and arborist training. This mid-level role provides field oversight for the Defensible Space program, performing inspections, data entry, and project management.

Familiarity with Maps+ and Field Maps is preferred. Responsibilities include supervising vegetation work around PG&E assets, preparing reports with narratives and maps, and ensuring compliance with PG&E procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience in Vegetation Management or related field.
• ISA Certified Arborist.
• Mid-level position capable of performing inspections, data entry, reporting, and project management.
• General understanding of vegetation management practices.
• Reviews, coordinates and facilitates tasks given by PG&E LPM’s.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum age of 21.

Responsibilities

• Project setup, implementation, and management.
• Inspect vegetation needs for safe access and operations.
• Oversee contractors performing vegetation control and maintenance.
• Collect and update GIS data and inspection reports.
• Provide onsite supervision and safety enforcement.
• Coordinate with agencies for permits and notifications.
• Ensure environmental permits are in place.
• Report safety hazards and nonconformance.
