Job summary

ACRT Pacific seeks a Field Technician 3 to provide field oversight for the NRM Defensible Space program. You will lead inspections, data entry, reporting, and project management, with hands-on vegetation control tasks.

Proficiency in Maps+ and Field Maps is essential, along with GIS basics and strong communication. The role requires traveling within the assigned region, supervising contractors, and ensuring compliance with PG&E procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Management, Forestry, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years' experience in Forestry or Vegetation Management.
• Senior level capable of inspections, data entry, reporting, and project management.
• Strong understanding of forestry and vegetation management; GIS basics.

Responsibilities

• Set up, implement, and manage projects.
• Inspect vegetation needs to ensure safe access and operations.
• Identify trees for removal; assess environmental protection measures on site.
• Supervise crews; ensure contractor safety and compliance.
• Collect field data and update GIS database; report progress and hazards.
