Job summary

TransCore is seeking a Lead Technician in Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves on-site or in-house servicing, repair and installation of customer equipment, including configuration and upgrades of systems/firmware, plus preventive maintenance and documentation.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, advanced troubleshooting across hardware, software and networks, and excellent communication skills. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Typically requires about 8 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Comfort with working at heights (up to 50 ft+).
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong troubleshooting for hardware, software and networks.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain equipment including Windows, Linux hardware and network components.
• Complete reports, logs and shift-to-shift communications per policy.
• Respond to maintenance requests or alarms within defined timeframes.
• Restore equipment to operational status quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain spare equipment and parts per guidelines.
• Lead and train technicians.
