Job summary

ONE Gas, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician Sr for P&M and Instrumentation in Monahans, TX. You will assist with installing, testing, and maintaining gas measurement and regulation equipment, including SCADA and related devices. Strong focus on safety, compliance, and field execution is essential.

Two to four years of relevant experience and a valid driver's license are required. CDL preferred; expect routine field travel and vehicle operation as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of field experience in gas measurement or P&M instrumentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office. Reading/writing English fluently.
• Knowledge of regulation equipment installation and maintenance.
• Understanding of basic arithmetic and tool use.
• Driver's license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing, testing, repairing and maintaining regulator settings and relief valves.
• Install and configure large industrial meter sets or pressure monitoring sites.
• Assist with gas measurement, regulation, and recording devices including chromatographs, odorization systems, flow computers, SCADA, and related equipment.
• Drive and maintain company vehicle; prepare compliance reporting.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform additional duties as assigned.
