Job summary
Canes Midstream is seeking a Measurement & Controls Tech to oversee installation, calibration, and maintenance of electrical and pneumatic instrumentation in West Texas gas processing facilities. You will manage AC/DC power distribution, control gear, meters, and field-to-SCADA communications to ensure safe operations.

Qualifications
- Ability to perform basic day-to-day troubleshooting and work to carry out solutions.
- Fundamental knowledge of instrumentation and controls associated with natural gas.
- Minimum 12-18 months verifiable experience in gas measurement or related fields or an accredited Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years applicable experience.
Responsibilities
- Installation and troubleshooting of measurement and communication equipment.
- Monthly, Quarterly flow meter calibrations.
- Complete all appropriate documentation and reports.
- Procurement of spot, composite, gas, and liquid samples.
- Knowledge of low voltage AC and 12-24V DC applications.
- Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot transmitters, analyzers, valves, and related equipment.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot gas chromatographs.
- Understand Hart, RS232, RS485 Modbus, TCP/IP communications.
