Job summary

Gregory Poole Equipment Company is seeking a Master Field Technician (Finance) to perform expert level repairs on material handling equipment in the field, using diagnostic tools and manuals. You will troubleshoot engines, transmissions and hydraulic systems, and install or replace components as required.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience with Yale, Clark or similar equipment, plus strong diagnostic and record-keeping skills.

Qualifications

Must have a high school education or GED.
Six years of experience on Yale, Clark or other similar equipment; understands engines, hydraulics, electrical, transmissions, etc.

Responsibilities

Perform expert level repairs on material handling equipment using diagnostic equipment and manuals in the field.
Review work schedule, prepare equipment and PPE, and ensure readiness for duties.
Troubleshoot engines, fuel systems, transmissions and other components using manuals and parts diagrams.
Use lift trucks, cranes and hoists to move parts and equipment as required.
Disassemble and reassemble parts with hand and power tools; test and recalibrate equipment.
