Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Two years direct work experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read manuals and parts diagrams for troubleshooting.
• Able to lift up to 95 pounds and use hoists as needed.
• Capable of diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, and fuel systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical repairs on materials handling equipment.
• Review work schedule, check required parts and PPE, and prepare for duties.
• Troubleshoot engines, fuel systems, transmissions using manuals and diagrams.
• Use lift trucks, overhead cranes, and other aids to move parts for repair.
• Disassemble/reassemble parts, test and recalibrate equipment as needed.
• Complete warranty paperwork and maintain repair records.
