Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring a Field Technician III to inspect, service and repair diesel-powered construction equipment. The role requires strong troubleshooting, electrical and hydraulic system knowledge, and a background in Tier 4 engines.

You’ll work in a team, maintain records, and advance with paid weekly pay and robust benefits. Typical duties include preventive maintenance, minor welding, and parts coordination.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience as diesel mechanic with construction equipment or rental background.
• Proficient troubleshooting and diagnosing skills with electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel engines, including Tier 4 and aftertreatment systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and test equipment to manufacturer specs.
• Perform routine service including fluid checks, changes, and lubrication.
• Conduct basic welding (MIG & SMAW).
• Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
