Job summary
Sunstate Equipment is seeking a skilled Technician II - Shop to service and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems on heavy rental equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure equipment meets manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic, heavy construction equipment or rental equipment preferred.
- Experience with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of diesel, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and gas engines.
- Experience with Tier 4 engines and DPF, SCR, and EGR aftertreatment systems preferred.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and equipment repairs.
- Must have the necessary tools to perform the scope of repairs.
- Inspect, service, and test equipment to meet manufacturer specifications.
- Intermediate understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
