Schnabel is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to support construction phase work on data center sites across the United States. The role requires travel to project sites, primarily in the eastern or central United States, with potential durations up to 2 years.

Overtime pay at 1.5x and lodging/mileage are provided. Qualified candidates have a minimum of 5 years of construction technician experience, are comfortable outdoors, hold a High School diploma, have strong communication skills, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction technician experience.
• Interest in working outdoors on construction sites.
• High School degree.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds and navigate construction sites.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Field observation and documentation of construction activities.
• Review testing of construction materials (soil, concrete, grout, reinforcing steel).
• Prepare reports documenting observations and test results.
• Communicate with contractors and engineers about findings.
