Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Senior Field Technician in Lanham, Maryland to perform testing of soils, concrete, and other construction materials as part of our PSI team. The role focuses on data reporting, plan interpretation, and equipment calibration in a field setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related materials testing experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to lift 30–50 pounds frequently; over 50 pounds with assistance occasionally.
• Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (soil, concrete, etc.).
• Read and interpret plans, specifications and diagrams.
• Maintain and calibrate standard equipment.
• Perform complex assignments and detailed observations of site activities.
