Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, seeks a Senior Technician in Lanham, MD to perform testing, site assessments, and reporting under supervision. The role offers hands-on field work across soil and concrete tests with client-facing communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of materials testing experience.
• Must meet specific inspector certifications or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (soil, concrete, or other) and provide assessment of data through reporting.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and diagrams.
• Maintain and calibrate standard equipment.
• Perform complex assignments; use specific methods and perform tasks to make detailed observations of site activities and give limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
• Attend project meetings and communicate effectively with client and project teams.
