Intertek is seeking a Senior Field Technician to join our Chesapeake, VA team in the Construction Materials Testing discipline. You will perform testing, site observations, and data reporting to support quality assurance for building projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related materials testing experience.
• Experience reading plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (soil, concrete) and report data.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and diagrams.
• Maintain and calibrate standard equipment.
• Perform complex assignments with detailed observations of site activities and limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
• Attend project meetings and communicate with client and project teams.
