Job summary

Sharp Electronics Corporation in the United States seeks a Field Technical Manager with deep automotive LCD display expertise to coordinate electrical and optical specifications with customers and the Sharp Japan engineering team.

You will drive technical design from kickoff through production, translate customer requirements into display specs, collaborate with HQ and customers, perform hands-on debugging, and develop interfacing documentation for LCD products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or systems engineering with 7+ years in display-related industries.
• Experience with LCD, TFT and backlight technologies.
• Experience in analog/digital design, signal and power integrity.
• Familiar with OrCAD for circuit design and simulation; TI FPD Link/Maxim GSML knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive technical design of new automotive displays from kickoff through production launch.
• Translate customer requirements into display electrical/optical specifications and ensure EMI/compatibility.
• Coordinate with Sharp Japan engineering and customers on specifications and milestones.
• Perform PCBA analysis and hands-on debugging with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, spectrum).
• Develop technical documents to assist customers interfacing with LCD products.
