Sharp Electronics Corporation seeks a Field Technical Manager to steer automotive LCD display specifications, coordinating with customers and Sharp Japan engineering to ensure electrical and optical requirements are met throughout development and production.

The role emphasizes liaison with Japan, managing milestones, and hands-on lab work for debugging and documentation. Travel and cross-functional teamwork are essential, with a strong focus on delivering world-class display solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field; 7+ years in display-related industries preferred.
• Experience with LCD, TFT, backlight technology and analog/digital design.
• Familiar with circuit design and simulation tools and OEM development processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate automotive LCD display specifications with customers and Sharp Japan engineering.
• Lead technical design from kickoff to production launch.
• Develop and verify electrical/optical specifications, EMI/EMC, and compatibility with OEM systems.
• Communicate with Japan design team and manage cross-functional collaboration.
• Support field issues with hands-on lab work and debugging using oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
