Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to deliver advanced technical service and support for HVAC, building automation, fire alarm, and access control systems at customer facilities. You will work from Morris Plains, NJ, diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, investigating failures, and guiding other technicians in complex service activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field service experience in HVAC/building automation/fire alarm or related systems.
• Advanced troubleshooting with HVAC controls, BAS, electrical and low-voltage systems.
• Strong ability to diagnose complex technical problems and read electrical drawings.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Customer-facing communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, commissioning, and service of building systems.
• Serve as senior technical resource and escalation point for complex issues.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and control sequences.
• Configure and troubleshoot building automation communication networks and protocols.
• Plan and execute service activities independently while maintaining quality.
