Job summary

Honeywell Building Automation in Augusta, ME is seeking a Sr. Field Service Technician to lead field service activities, install, maintain, and repair building automation systems for diverse customer facilities.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, mentor junior technicians, and report to the Field Service Manager on-site, supporting safety, energy efficiency, and reliability.

This role emphasizes teamwork, documentation, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Field Service Technician for Building Automation Systems in commercial/industrial facilities.
• 2+ years hands-on with building control systems including HVAC controls, sensors, switches, actuators, DDC controllers, and energy management technologies.
• 2+ years troubleshooting complex BAS, controls, networking, and system integration issues while meeting SLAs.
• 2+ years using diagnostic tools, software, programming platforms, and commissioning tools related to BAS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform field service activities including installation, maintenance, and repair of BAS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system reliability and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior field service technicians.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
