Honeywell is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician in Morris Plains, NJ to provide advanced technical service for HVAC, building automation, fire alarm, and access control systems across customer facilities. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, startups, and serve as an escalation point while collaborating with customers, contractors, engineers, and field personnel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field service experience with HVAC/building systems.
• Advanced troubleshooting with HVAC controls, BAS, electrical systems, low-voltage systems, fire alarm, or related building technologies.
• Strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and sequences of operation.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and startup activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, commissioning and service of HVAC, BAS, fire alarm, access control, and related building systems.
• Serve as a senior technical resource and escalation point for complex field service issues.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, controls, and system-level problems using schematics and diagnostics.
• Install, configure, program, commission, test, and optimize building automation systems.
• Travel to customer sites to perform maintenance and upgrades.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians and coordinate with project teams.
