Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a seasoned Surveyor Lead to direct a field team in data collection, mapping, and legal description preparation. You will ensure adherence to standards and regulations while coordinating with clients and the construction manager to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive surveying experience, and travel to job sites, often under challenging weather conditions. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Surveyor or equivalent role.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical skills with survey equipment and software.
• Ability to travel frequently and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of surveyors in the field and ensure resources and support for the job.
• Oversee survey work, data collection, and preparation of maps, plans, and legal descriptions.
• Ensure survey work meets standards and regulations.
• Interpret survey results and select methods and equipment.
• Communicate with clients and provide project updates.
• Maintain and update survey equipment and train the team.
• Collaborate with the Construction Manager to complete the project on time and within budget.
