Job summary

IPS, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a Senior Superintendent for our construction team in Emeryville, California. You will lead specific trades on site and support project leadership to manage progress, manpower, safety, quality, and schedule across complex facilities projects.

This safety‑sensitive role requires a strong background in construction delivery, coordination, and client interaction. Travel up to 25% and the ability to work across multiple shifts as needed are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Project Delivery or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead specific construction site activities and manage parts of field operations on projects.
• Support the Project Director, Project Manager, and Construction Manager for oversight of work progress, subcontractor manpower, and coordination between trades.
• Assist with ensuring subcontractor and vendor work is completed safely and in compliance with contract documents and project schedule.
