Job summary

The ideal candidate will manage civil construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and project specifications. Candidates are expected to have a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management along with relevant experience in large projects.

This position includes preconstruction planning in Reston, VA before starting long-term assignment in Wyoming. A commitment to a Zero Accident safety program is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant work experience, or 9-12 years relevant experience in the absence of a degree.
• Experience in civil construction on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute civil construction activities and ensure safety compliance.
• Coordinate work planning and schedules with subcontractors.
• Prepare construction drawings and develop planning methods.

Skills

Technical knowledge of earthworks, roads and drainage

Experience in self perform concrete activities

Knowledge of relevant codes (ACI, CRSI, ASTM)

Familiarity with current industry quality standards

Understanding of production management

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering or Construction Management
